Flagship capability

Architectural & figurative stone carving

We lead with the most complex work we can do — deep multi-figure relief, pierced openwork, architectural components and figurative carving — as evidence of capability. It is proof of craft, not a claim of completed UK projects.
Carved at our family-run workshop in China and prepared for project-specific UK delivery. We supply the carving; where a project needs on-site work, UK partners hold the site qualifications and carry out installation.

Work from our workshop

Real carving, photographed at the bench

Photographed at our workshop in China as evidence of hand-carving craft. These are not UK projects, not delivered UK commissions, and not an offer of these specific pieces; the Chinese subjects demonstrate technique only. Treated as the owner's own work; any confidential piece can be removed on request.

What we carve

From architectural components to figurative relief

Complex, master-level carving is how we prove capability, but we still quote across the range — from a single relief panel or fire surround to deep multi-figure and pierced openwork commissions.
01

Deep and high relief

Multi-figure narrative panels, layered landscapes and deeply undercut high relief where the depth of cut is the point.

02

Pierced (openwork) carving

Fully through-carved screens and panels, tracery and ajouré work that read from both sides.

03

Architectural components

Capitals, corbels, label stops, bosses, pinnacles, pediment tympana and other carved stone components to drawing.

04

Figurative work

Figures, portrait reliefs and busts developed from your model, maquette or authorised references.

05

Gothic and ornamental

Gothic tracery, grotesques, foliate capitals and green men, and other ornamental carving to an agreed design.

06

Heraldic carving

Coats of arms, crests and armorial panels to correctly blazoned artwork you are entitled to use.

Concept visualisations

Indicative of capability, not completed work

Indicative renders of the kinds of commission we develop. They are clearly marked and visually distinct from the workshop photographs above.

Honest boundary

What we supply — and what stays with UK partners

For heritage, listed-building and church work we can supply new carved pieces to UK conservation-accredited partners. We are not a heritage or restoration contractor, we do not install on site, and we do not hold UK site accreditation such as CSCS Heritage. Faculty, listed-building consent and installation remain with the client and their accredited team.

Discuss a commission

Bring the most demanding part of the design

Share the setting, subject, approximate scale and any drawings, model or references. Paid design development and NDAs are available for complex work.

An enquiry is not an order. Feasibility, scope, price, programme and delivery terms are confirmed in writing before either party makes a commercial commitment.
